This distinguished painting was created by Victor Valla in 1994. It was to be reproduced as a fundraising print for the University of Connecticut. This large painting depicts the more formal garden area in front of the President’s house on that campus. To the right is shown the cupola of the Wilbur Cross library, the most recognizable building of the campus complex. It was created with acrylic paints on mounted canvas and measures 35" x 29". This distinguished work of art would look lovely as wall art, particularly to someone who is connected to the University or to the architectural design of the building.
